The achievable distances for different infrared illuminators are given below. The ranges shown indicate the maximum usable range of a single lamp with a high performance camera and a 850nm illuminator. The figures given are for reference only. Distances achievable in practice will depend on a combination of camera, lens and infrared illuminator.
All illuminators are available as 940nm options.
The use of an 940nm illuminator will decrease the range by approximately 45%.
The use of two units will increase the maximum achievable range by approximately 40%.
