-Sentry Access Control
The REG Sentry is the first automated vehicle access control system. It consists of a control box with embedded processing engine, a choice of license plate capture cameras to accommodate a range of capture distances and easy-to-use Sentry Viewer software. The system delivers a
flexible, user-friendly ANPR solution for a wide range of access control applications.
The REG Sentry system is designed to operate as either a stand-alone solution or to be integrated with existing access control equipment. The user can configure the system to permit entry or bar entry to any vehicle attempting to enter a secure site using a user-defined
number plate list.
Users upload number plate data using the PC-based Sentry Viewer software to create a customized list. The REG camera captures the number plate of any vehicle approaching an access control point and sends that data to the control box which processes the information, compares
it to the list and sends a signal to the access barrier to open or remain closed.
The REG Sentry system can be used in a wide range of access control applications including car parking, gated communities, factories, warehouses, offices, schools and colleges.

The Sentry Viewer software is supplied as standard and offers the user a simple PC-based interface for the configuration of date, time and choice of three levels of security (high, medium or low). The software features a live stream view and allows users to import number plate data
from a text file and upload it to the control box. Features include:
